Welcome on my new weblog where you can see my drawings and paintings! I have always been drawing , but I really started painting in 1997. For this reason , some things might look a bit old (this is for this reason as well that there are two sections for my paintings )
Most of the time, I use oil paint on canvas, and I do especially portraits . My models , come from calendars, postcards, or pictures that I find on the internet. These pictures are about people from all around the world, from different cultures . All my models are made by professional photographers. It is much easier to do good portraits when the shadows and lights are perfect, when there is no defects that you can find on most of amateurish pictures . Some paintings have been made without real model, or with my own pictures, for the drawings, I did not use models though there are some exeptions like for the still-life , or for the studies/sketches. The main theme for my drawings is imaginary world, fantastic people and creatures.
